                            या पोस्ट मध्ये, 8 वी महाराष्ट्र बोर्ड च्या सायन्स या विषयाच्या चॅप्टर 2 - Health and Diseases यावरची ऑनलाईन टेस्ट देण्यात आलेली आहे. ही टेस्ट घेत असतांना या चॅप्टर मधील खालील टॉपिक लक्षात घेतले गेले आहेत -

1) Health and Diseases, या दुसऱ्या chapter मध्ये आपल्याला health म्हणजे काय याबद्दलची माहिती दिलेली आहे. 

2) Health म्हणजे अशी अवस्था ज्याच्यामध्ये एखादी व्यक्ती physically, mentally आणि socially चांगल्या पद्धतीने काम करत आहे किंवा कार्यरत आहे. त्या व्यक्तीला आपण म्हणतो की ती व्यक्ती healthy आहे.

3) Disease म्हणजे काय? Disease म्हणजे काय तर आपल्या physiological किंवा psychological process मध्ये body च्या disturbance येणे याला आपण म्हणतो disease.

4) या chapter मध्ये आपल्याला types of diseases learn करायचे आहेत. मग diseases दोन type चे आहेत :

5) एकाचे विभाजन केले गेलेले आहे according to duration वरनं म्हणजेच disease किती काळापर्यंत टिकतो. त्यामधनं दोन type पडलेले—पहिला chronic disease आणि दुसरा acute disease.

6) Chronic disease म्हणजे असे diseases जे एका वर्षापेक्षा जास्त काळापर्यंत टिकतात. त्यांना म्हणतो आपण chronic diseases.

7) आणि acute diseases म्हणजे असे की जे काय त्यापेक्षा कमी कालावधी टिकतात किंवा लवकर बरे होतात.

8) According to reasons म्हणजेच कारणांनुसार सुद्धा diseases चे type पडतात.

9) पहिला type आहे hereditary diseases आणि दुसरा type आहे acquired diseases.

10) Hereditary diseases म्हणजे असे जे वंशपरंपरेने, अनुवंशिकतेने आपल्या आई-वडिलांपासून आपल्याला मिळालेले आहेत असे diseases. त्यांना आपण म्हणतो hereditary diseases, जसा की Down's syndrome.

11) आणि acquired diseases सुद्धा दोन प्रकारचे असतात. एक असतो infectious disease आणि एक असतो non-infectious disease.

• Infectious disease म्हणजे असे की ज्याचे infection होते, ज्याची लागण होते, जे एका व्यक्तीकडून दुसऱ्या व्यक्तीकडे carry forward होते. त्या diseases ला आपण infectious diseases म्हणतो. उदाहरणार्थ - सर्दी, खोकला अशा पद्धतीची.

• Non-infectious diseases म्हणजे जे एका व्यक्तीकडून दुसऱ्या व्यक्तीकडे transfer केली जाणार नाहीत. अशा diseases ला आपण non-infectious diseases म्हणतो. उदाहरणार्थ - diabetes आणि heart diseases.

12) या chapter मध्ये आपल्याला सुरुवातीला infectious diseases बद्दल पाहायचे आहे. त्यामध्ये,

• Tuberculosis

• Hepatitis

• Dysentery

• Cholera

• Typhoid

• Dengue

• Swine flu

• AIDS

या पद्धतीच्या diseases बद्दल आपण पाहणार आहोत.

13) अशाच पद्धतीचा अजून एक disease दिलेला आहे जो प्राण्यांपासून होतो, जो आहे rabies. Rabies बद्दल सुद्धा सविस्तर माहिती आपल्याला या प्रकरणामध्ये दिलेली आहे.

14) नंतरचा भाग आहे या प्रकरणाचा - Non-infectious diseases. म्हणजे असे जे infection ने पसरत नाही.

• यामध्ये आपल्याला cancer बद्दलची माहिती पाहायची आहे.

• त्यानंतर diabetes काय असते, diabetes चे symptoms काय, कुणाला diabetes होतो, कशामुळे diabetes होतो, त्याच्यावरती काय उपाय आहे अशी माहिती पाहायची आहे.

• याच प्रकारे heart diseases कोणकोणत्या प्रकारचे असतात. काय symptoms आहे heart disease चे, आपल्याला कशावरून समजते.

• Heart disease जर का असेल तर त्याला कसा treat केला जातो, कोणकोणत्या पद्धतीच्या methods आहेत ज्याने heart मध्ये असलेला blockage remove केला जातो.

• Heart attack का बरं येतो? Heart attack जर का कुणाला येत असेल तर त्या व्यक्तीला काय first aid दिला पाहिजे.

15) यानंतर generic medicines बद्दलची माहिती दिलेली आहे.

16) आणि जर का आपल्याला diseases पासून दूर राहायचे असेल, diseases ला आपल्याला prevent करायचे असेल, तर आपण आपल्या lifestyle मध्ये काय काय बदल केले पाहिजे, याबद्दलची माहिती सुद्धा सविस्तरपणे या प्रकरणामध्ये किंवा या chapter मध्ये आपल्याला दिलेली आहे.
